Dorina is a fluffy Persian mix female cat, about 5 years old. She is extremely fluffy and was brought to us as part of a veterinary authority seizure along with her mostly long-haired friends. Dorina was extremely matted when she arrived and was gradually shaved in small sections as she was pregnant and should not have been sedated during her gestation. She gave birth to her kittens and is now able to make her own life. Her fur has grown back and she is now showing off her beauty! After settling into her new home, grooming will definitely be an ongoing issue! Dorina is still quite shy - when people visit, she (unfortunately) does not come out of her cave to greet them! We can tell her all sorts of things to get her to come out to eat and play - nobody believes us! People will need a bit of patience and cat sense to coax the beautiful lady out of her shell! But it will definitely happen and Dorina will develop into a wonderful companion cat! A friendly fellow cat would help her better understand the situation with the strange humans. With the same favorite humans, Dorina will be able to trust them. Desired home: We are not looking for a very turbulent home for Dorina - preferably with later traffic-calmed outdoor access or a secure balcony - if there are children in the household, they should be older and cat-experienced. – wuschelige Lady in Black Status: offen Name: Dorina Rasse: Perser Mix Geschlecht: weiblich/kastriert Farbe: schwarz Alter: 5 Jahre Verträglich mit: Artgenossen Dorina ist eine äußerst wuschelige Perser-Mix-Katzendame, etwa 5 Jahre alt…. Sie ist zusammen mit ihrer ganzen mehr oder weniger langhaarigen Clique im Rahmen einer Sicherstellung des Veterinäramtes zu uns gekommen. Auch Dorina war bei ihrem Eintreffen extrem verfilzt und wurde nach und nach häppchenweise geschoren – da sie trächtig war, sollte sie nicht sediert werden während der Tragezeit. Ihre Kitten hat Dorina ausgetragen und darf sich nun ein eigenes Leben einrichten. Das Fell ist mittlerweile auch schon wieder tüchtig nachgewachsen und Dorina präsentiert sich in ihrer ganzen Schönheit! Nach Eingewöhnung in ihrem neuen Zuhause wird Fellpflege definitiv immer ein Thema bleiben! Dorina ist noch recht schüchtern – wenn Menschen zu Besuch kommen, wird sie (leider) einen Teufel tun und sich außerhalb ihrer Höhle präsentieren! Da können wir viel erzählen, daß sie immer wieder herauskommt zum futtern und spielen – niemand glaubt uns! Da brauchen die Menschen schon ein wenig Geduld und Katzenverstand, um die hübsche Lady aus der Reserve zu locken! Aber das wird absolut sicher passieren und Dorina wird sich zu einer wunderbaren Partnerkatze entwickeln! Ein freundlicher Artgenosse /in würde ihr da sehr helfen, die Lebenssituation mit den komischen Menschen besser einschätzen zu können. Bei immer denselben Lieblingsmenschen wird es gelingen, daß auch Dorina Vertrauen fasst! Wunschzuhause: Für Dorina suchen wir kein allzu turbulentes Zuhause – gern mit späterem verkehrsberuhigtem Freigang oder gesichertem Balkon – sofern Kinder im Haushalt sind, sollten diese bitte auf jeden Fall etwas älter und katzenerfahren sein.
