Meet Douglas, our beautiful 10-year-old Border Collie! Although he is visually impaired, this sweet boy still enjoys life to the fullest and loves to explore the world using his nose and ears instead. Douglas is super friendly and loves to meet new people, especially if you have a tasty treat to hand! He is also really friendly and polite with other dogs, and always has a very waggy tail when he can tell a dog is nearby. He has stolen the heart of his foster carer who describes him as "the sweetest dog", and she loves that he greets her every morning with lots of kisses! Douglas really enjoys his walks and will happily take his time sniffing and exploring to his heart's content. His visual impairment means that he needs some time to get used to a new environment, but he is a confident boy who adapts quickly! Douglas is looking for a calm, patient home where he can settle at his own pace & enjoy the quieter things in life, and he could live with primary school aged children and above. This gentle, affectionate soul has so much love to give - could you help Douglas enjoy his well-earned retirement?
