He came to us along with his entire more or less fluffy clique as part of a security measure by the veterinary office…. Dr Alban was severely matted, his entire fur was one big turtle shell and had to be completely shorn. This gives the imposing Dr Alban a somewhat ridiculous appearance at the moment, but: He bears it with dignity and it’s all growing back. Nevertheless, Dr Alban will always need regular fur care! He is incredibly social and relaxed with fellow animals and still has a bit of respect for humans. He does not come up to humans actively but rather observes from his safe hideout. With his favorite humans and especially a friendly fellow animal as a teacher, with the help of one or two treats, Dr Alban will quickly gain trust and turn into a cuddly chilled-out sofa cat. In a household with a nice existing cat or tomcat, the extremely social Persian tomcat will quickly learn to trust and thaw out! A move with one of his current cuddle buddies would of course be perfect, but is not a must. Desired home: For Dr Alban, we are looking for a not too turbulent home – preferably with a later traffic-calmed walk or a secured balcony – if there are children in the household, please make sure they are cat-savvy. – am liebsten im Duett Status: offen Name: Dr Alban Rasse: Perser Mix Geschlecht: männlich/kastriert Farbe: weiß schwarz Alter: 9 Jahre Verträglich mit: Artgenossen Dr Alban ist ein sehr wolliger Perser-Mix-Kater, etwa 9 Jahre alt. Er ist zusammen mit seiner ganzen mehr oder weniger wolligen Clique im Rahmen einer Sicherstellung des Veterinäramtes zu uns gekommen…. Dr Alban war massiv verfilzt, sein ganzes Fell war ein einziger Schildkrötenpanzer und musste deshalb komplett geschoren werden. Das gibt dem imposanten Dr Alban derzeit ein etwas lächerliches Aussehen, aber: Er erträgt es mit Würde und es wächst schon alles wieder nach. Dennoch wird Dr Alban auch in Zukunft immer ordentlich Fellpflege benötigen! Zu Artgenossen unglaublich sozial und entspannt hat Dr Alban vor Menschen noch etwas Respekt. Er kommt noch nicht aktiv auf Menschen zu sondern beobachtet lieber aus seiner sicheren Höhle heraus. Bei immer denselben Lieblingsmenschen und insbesondere einem freundlichen Artgenossen als Lehrer/in wird Dr Alban unter Zutun von dem einen oder anderen Leckerchen schnell Vertrauen fassen und zu einem verschmusten gechillten Sofakater mutieren. In einer Wohngemeinschaft mit einer/m netten Bestandskatze oder -kater wird der überaus soziale Perserkater schnell Vertrauen lernen und weiter auftauen! Ein Auszug mit einem seiner derzeitigen Kuschelfreunde wäre natürlich perfekt, ist aber kein Muss. Wunschzuhause: Für Dr Alban suchen wir kein allzu turbulentes Zuhause – gern mit späterem verkehrsberuhigtem Freigang oder gesichertem Balkon – wenn Kinder im Haushalt sind, bitte unbedingt katzenerfahren.
