But when the war turned his family’s life upside down, his owner had to make a difficult decision and send him away. Since then, Duda has been waiting for some stability to return to his life—a home where he can finally feel truly at home. And he brings with him everything you could wish for in a loyal companion. Duda has spent his entire life indoors, knows what daily life with people is like, and knows how to behave. He understands commands, walks nicely on a leash, and proves to be a pleasant companion on walks. At first, he approaches strangers with a certain vigilance. This probably runs in his genes, as Duda takes his role as protector very seriously. Yet just as quickly as he observes attentively, he also realizes when there’s no danger present. Then his true character shines through: friendly, obedient, and simply a really sweet guy. Duda gets along wonderfully with other dogs and interacts with his peers in an easygoing and social manner. Overall, he seems like a dog who prefers to avoid conflicts and values harmonious coexistence. What’s especially touching is that despite everything he’s lost, Duda has remained open toward his people. He’s kept his kindness intact and patiently waits for someone who can once again give him a sense of security. Dabei bringt er alles mit, was man sich von einem treuen Begleiter wünschen kann. Duda hat sein gesamtes Leben im Haus gelebt, kennt den Alltag mit Menschen und weiß, wie man sich benimmt. Er beherrscht Kommandos, läuft gut an der Leine und zeigt sich als angenehmer Begleiter bei Spaziergängen. Fremden begegnet er zunächst mit einer gewissen Wachsamkeit. Das steckt vermutlich auch in seinen Genen, denn Duda nimmt seine Rolle als Beschützer durchaus ernst. Doch genauso schnell, wie er aufmerksam beobachtet, merkt er auch, wenn keine Gefahr besteht. Dann zeigt sich sein wahrer Charakter: freundlich, gehorsam und einfach ein richtig lieber Kerl. Mit anderen Hunden versteht sich Duda hervorragend und begegnet seinen Artgenossen unkompliziert und sozial. Insgesamt wirkt er wie ein Hund, der Konflikten lieber aus dem Weg geht und das harmonische Miteinander schätzt. Besonders berührend ist, dass Duda trotz allem, was er verloren hat, seinen Menschen gegenüber offen geblieben ist.
