Meet Duncan! (Formerly Jaxon) Duncan is a gorgeous Beagle-Spaniel mix in search of a new beginning. Given his breed, he will need a secure garden, and it’s important that any neighbours are tolerant of what we affectionately refer to as “the Beagle bark.” Duncan is not recommended for first time dog owners. This lovable pup is incredibly cuddly and forms strong bonds quickly. While he may be a bit anxious around new people and unfamiliar environments, he enjoys treats, savours tasty meals, and will play fetch with his toys, when the mood strikes him! Since the sanctuary is still a new experience for him, this behaviour is perfectly understandable. Our team is continuing to learn more about Duncan, and we’ll provide updates as we get to know him better. He is also crate trained and responds to cues like sit, paw, and middle!
