Unfortunately, this handsome male hasn't experienced much in life and spent a lot of time alone. Initially, Dusty is very cautious and skittish around people. With time and trust, he warms up quickly and shows a very friendly side. He enjoys playing and likes being petted. When Dusty feels really comfortable and secure, he can sometimes 'overdo it' and become exuberant. It's not unusual for this strong male to jump up and want to bite the leash. His strength shouldn't be underestimated, so he needs very consistent people who can provide love and security while also setting clear rules. Dusty is eager to learn and would surely enjoy visiting dog school with his new people. He shows interest in other dogs, usually deciding based on sympathy, but is very friendly with females. Dusty has taken on the role of class clown with us. With his 'I didn't do anything' face, he makes us caretakers laugh every time.

Dusty – lebensfrohe Wasserratte sucht Anschluss 👀 Der hübsche Rüde durfte bisher leider noch nicht viel kennenlernen und war oft auf sich allein gestellt. Eine normale Wohnsituation ist ihm daher fremd und kann ihn anfangs überfordern – dabei kann auch mal ein Kissen in Mitleidenschaft gezogen werden 😉 Dusty begegnet Menschen zunächst vorsichtig, bleibt dabei aber stets freundlich. Gibt man ihm Zeit, fasst er schnell Vertrauen und zeigt sich verspielt, lustig und sehr verschmust. Fühlt er sich sicher, kann er jedoch auch übermütig werden – dann springt er gerne hoch oder möchte in die Leine beißen. Seine Kraft sollte man dabei nicht unterschätzen. Für Dusty suchen wir konsequente, geduldige Menschen, die ihm Sicherheit geben und ihn liebevoll an neue Situationen heranführen. Er ist lernwillig und hätte sicherlich große Freude daran, gemeinsam mit seinen Menschen eine Hundeschule zu besuchen. Mit anderen Hunden zeigt er sich interessiert, bei Rüden entscheidet die Sympathie – mit Hündinnen ist er in der Regel sehr freundlich. Katzen und Kinder sollten nicht im neuen Zuhause leben. Dusty hat bei uns die Aufgabe des Klassenclowns übernommen🤡. Mit seinem „ich hab gar nichts angestellt“-Gesicht, bringt er uns Tierpfleger jedes Mal zum Lachen 🥰.
