adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Echo has found her home! Her story: Echo, a loving, gentle, and charming female dog, was found in the vicinity of Beliș with her sister. Two young female puppies, alone on the way, but fortunately discovered and brought to safety in time. Echo even had the chance to be adopted once before, but the family who adopted her was overwhelmed with the situation with the children – and so, with a heavy heart, Echo had to be returned. Since then, she has been waiting in a foster home in Cluj, hoping that someone will finally come who is serious and wants to give her a stable, reliable life. With her medium build of about 20 kg, Echo is perfect for people looking for a friendly, balanced dog. She already walks beautifully on a leash, is calm and friendly, and brings a wonderful sense of calm. She is microchipped, vaccinated, neutered, and dewormed – ready to begin her new life. From her nature, Echo is an absolutely social female dog. She gets along excellently with other dogs, is friendly to cats, and meets people openly, gently, and curiously. She is neither hyper nor insecure, but pleasantly balanced, friendly, and simply lovable. Echo is no whirlwind, but a female dog who enjoys company, loves walks, and will fit into her people's daily routine very well. As she is still young, Echo must continue to get to know life in a family – from routines to everyday noises to small rules. She is, however, so gentle, accessible, and eager to learn that she will find her way with loving guidance. Her new family should be patient and give her the time she needs to settle in – because Echo is a female dog who takes attachment very seriously and wholeheartedly bonds with her person. We hope very much that Echo will finally find a home that gives her security, peace, and stability. She is such a loving, friendly being – she deserves to finally settle in. Echo is microchipped, vaccinated, neutered, dewormed, and flea-treated. She brings her EU pet passport and can be adopted even through a foster home in Germany. Who will give Echo a loving home where she will finally receive the stability and affection she so deserves? Many thanks to Stephie! You gave Echo her name. Status: 10.01.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Vielen Dank an Stephie! Du hast Echo ihren Namen geschenkt. Stand: 10.01.2026

About Echo

What life with Echo looks like

Echo is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Echo, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Echo?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Echo on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Echo if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Echo already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Echo isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Echo and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
