Eddie is a truly gorgeous Border Collie with a wonderfully gentle, loving nature and a heart full of affection. He is looking for a calm, quieter home (no flats) with a secure garden of his own to potter around and enjoy. He would be happiest away from the hustle and bustle of busy towns. We would love his new owners to have Border Collie experience. Eddie is an absolute sweetheart to share a home with. He is not destructive and can happily be left for short periods. After his walks, his favourite thing is to curl up in a cosy spot on the sofa for a well-earned snooze. Eddie adores being part of the family and has so much love to give—he will happily soak up cuddles and affection, then enjoy a playful moment with his favourite toys. He can become a little excited when visitors arrive and may jump up to offer an enthusiastic hello, but this friendly boy does not bark and simply loves meeting people. Eddie still loves his walks and is a wonderful companion to have by your side while out and about. He walks beautifully on either a harness or just his collar and lead. He is also very good off lead, with excellent recall. When people or other dogs approach, he will usually carry on happily or may stop for a polite, friendly hello. He is generally very good with other dogs, although he may show a little more interest in females. If another dog snaps at him, Eddie may respond, but he would never go looking for trouble and will listen when asked to stop.
