The street dog who was always mistreated and chased away, whose trust the animal welfare workers on site could only win back with much patience and empathy, was allowed to travel from the shelter in Bistrita to a wonderful foster home and has been living in southern Germany for a short while. The foster mom suspects that Edison is not yet ten years old but perhaps only eight. He still has a lot of energy for long walks. There, one is never bored of him! Since his fur was fluffed up, the infected ears were cleaned and medically treated, Edison has turned out to be a completely relaxed and easy-to-care-for dog, as if he had always lived in a household with a human and an animal. He quickly found his favorite spots and oriented himself in everyday life to the two other dogs in the house. He was immediately house-trained, goes problemlessly on a leash, and is so fit that one hardly believes he is supposed to be ten years old. The handsome male dog is friendly and people-oriented, loves cuddles. One wonders how that can be with a dog who was hit and left lying and apparently never experienced human warmth? Edison has started to love life. Now he is looking for a forever home with people who will help him enjoy his golden years. He can do best in a quiet rural home with a garden where not too many people come and go constantly. Edison is medium-sized with about 55 cm shoulder height. Edison is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and dewormed. He brings his EU pet passport and can be adopted after a positive application. Who will give our big fighter his heart and a loving home? Seine Geschichte: Edison hat das große Los gezogen! Der Straßenhund, der immer nur misshandelt und verscheucht wurde, dessen Vertrauen die Tierschützer vor Ort nur mit viel Geduld und Einfühlungsvermögen wieder gewinnen konnten, durfte aus dem Shelter in Bistrita in eine wunderbare Pflegestelle reisen und lebt seit kurzem in Süddeutschland. Die Pflegemama vermutet, dass Edison noch keine zehn Jahre alt ist sondern vielleicht erst 8 Jahre. Er besitzt noch viel Energie für lange Spaziergänge. Dort kommt man aus dem Staunen über ihn nicht mehr heraus! Seitdem sein Fell entfilzt, die entzündeten Ohren gereinigt und medizinisch behandelt sind, entpuppt sich Edison als völlig entspannter und pflegeleichter Hund, so als ob er immer schon in einem Haushalt mit Mensch und Tier gelebt hätte. Schnell hat er seine Lieblingsplätze gefunden und orientiert sich im Alltag an den beiden anderen Hunden im Haus. Er war sofort stubenrein, geht problemlos an der Leine und ist so fit, dass man kaum glauben mag, dass er schon 10 Jahre alt sein soll. Der tolle Rüde ist zutraulich und menschenbezogen, liebt Streicheleinheiten. Man fragt sich, wie das sein kann bei einem Hund, der angefahren und liegengelassen wurde und früher scheinbar nie menschliche Wärme erfuhr? Edison hat angefangen, das Leben zu lieben. Jetzt sucht er ein Zuhause für immer mit Menschen, die ihm helfen, seinen Lebensabend zu genießen. Das kann er am besten in einem ruhigen ländlichen Zuhause mit Garten, wo nicht ständig zu viele Menschen ein- und ausgehen. Edison ist mittelgroß mit etwa 55 cm Schulterhöhe. Edison ist kastriert, gechipt, geimpft und entwurmt. Er bringt seinen EU-Heimtierausweis mit und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine verminderte Schutzgebühr von 325 Euro in sein neues Leben reisen.
