My name is Astrid. I am female, neutered, and born in 2020. I have been waiting since February 2021 for a new home. My caretakers say about me: Astrid is a half-found cat from the region. Born wild but raised by a friend who cares for animals, she is now brought to us for neutering, and should she need to be further cared for at the place of discovery, it will become clear that Astrid would not adapt well to humans. Since we are sure this is not the case, she stays with us until a home is found; the groundwork laid by the animal friend is a good foundation, and Astrid can become a normal snuggly cat with understanding owners. So, she is spared the fate of a stray cat with much struggle and suffering. At our shelter, she already shows with cautious approach and cuddles that touching is actually a good thing. Of course, she will need some time to adjust. May the time be kind to her, and we are sure a suitable family will find her. She can purr bewitchingly, and we look forward to hearing from her new home when the ice is broken. We would be happy to place Astrid as a second cat, as she knows life in society. A later release would be great, but is not strictly necessary. Patience and understanding are the keys to her little cat heart, and if children are present, they should be aware and act with consideration. Astrid waits patiently for her chance, the sooner it comes, the better her life in safety can begin…. This cat needs outdoor access.

Mein Name ist Astrid. Ich bin weiblich, kastriert und 2020 geboren. Ich warte seit Februar 2021 auf ein neues Zuhause. Das sagen meine Betreuer über mich: Astrid ist eine halbe Fundkatze der Region.Bischen wild geboren, aber versorgt von einer Tierfreundin aufgewachsen, die sie nun zur Kastration zu uns bringt und sie notfalls am Fundort weiterversorgt, sollte sich herrausstellen, Astrid würde sich nicht gut an Menschen gewöhnen können. Da wir sicher sind, dem ist nicht so, bleibt sie bei uns, bis ein Zuhause gefunden ist, die Vorarbeit der Tierfreundin ist ein guter Grundbaustein und Astrid kan bei verständnisvollen Haltern eine ganz normale Schmusemiez werden.So entkommt sie dem Schicksal einer Sreunerkatze verbunden mit viel Überlebenskampf und Leid endgültig. Bei uns zeigt sie schon bei vorsichtiger Annäherung und Streicheleinheiten, das das eigentlich eine tolle sache ist mit dem Anfassen.Natürlich wird sie etwas länger brauchen, um sich einzugewöhnen.Die Zeit sei ihr gegönnt und wir sind sicher, die passende Familie findet sich bestimmt. Sie kann bezaubern mauzen und wir freuen uns schon auf Nachrichten aus dem neuen Zuhause, wenn das Eis gebrochen ist. Gern würden wir Astrid als Zweitkatze abgeben, sie kennt das Leben in Gesellschaft. Späterer Freigang wäre toll, ist aber nicht zwingend nötig.Geduld und Verständnis sind der Schlüssel zu Ihrem kleinen Katzenherz, sind Kinder vorhanden, sollten diese das vorab wissen und rücksichtsvoll handeln. Astrid wartet geduldig auf Ihre Chance, je schneller sie kommt, umso flotter kann ihr Leben in Sicherheit beginnen….
