The Texel lamb Elfie was born in 2020 near the Lower Saxon foster home Rehden in a small farm. The animals are kept very cleanly there, but Elfie slipped – for whatever reason – through the willow fence, and the farmer was worried something could happen. Therefore, the farmer associated with the foster home Rehden asked the caretaker at the foster home if the Texel lamb could walk on the already wolf-proof fenced pasture until it reached the "slaughter age" (a terrible word). But returning an animal that had once arrived at Schutzengel für Tiere to its original owner is of course not possible. Elfie changed hands for a fair price and can now enjoy her newly won life in the small Schutzengel herd in Lower Saxony until her natural death. Now fill out the paternity declaration.

Das Texelschafmädchen Elfie wurde 2020 in der Nähe der niedersächsischen Pflegestelle Rehden in einer kleinen Landwirtschaft geboren . Die Tiere werden dort sehr ordentlich gehalten, aber Elfie schlüpfte – warum auch immer- gerne durch den Weidenzaun und der Landwirt machte sich Sorgen, dass etwas passieren könnte. Deshalb fragte der mit dem Betreuer in der Pflegestelle Rehden verwandte Landwirt in der Pflegestelle an, ob das Texelschaf bis zur „Schlachtreife“ (furchtbares Wort) dort auf der bereits wolfssicher eingezäunten Wiese mitlaufen könnte. Aber ein Tier, das einmal bei Schutzengel für Tiere angekommen ist, wieder zurückschicken, das geht natürlich gar nicht. Elfie wechselte zu einem fairen Preis den Besitzer und darf seitdem ihr neugewonnenes Leben bis zu ihrem natürlichen Tod in der kleinen Schutzengel-Herde in Niedersachsen genießen.Jetzt Patenschaftserklärung ausfüllen.
