Emma ♀ 🇭🇺 -reserviert

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 4 months

Emma is a small, curious explorer who carefully and attentively explores her environment with wide-eyed curiosity. Nothing escapes her notice – and she greets all new things with friendliness, openness, and a wonderful gentleness. With her loving nature, she quickly wins everyone over with her little paw and immediately brings a smile. The little Emma was born on January 20, 2026, together with her siblings and is now old enough to start her search for her own forever home. Her mother Panni is a small Dachshund-mixed-breed female dog, and the father is unknown – however, we assume that as an adult, Emma will grow to be small to medium-sized. Currently, Emma lives at the Animal Shelter Farm Hope, where she is cared for with much heart and tenderness. There, she can grow up protected and gather her first important experiences. Nevertheless, we wish for her that she does not have to grow up on an animal shelter farm, but can soon move into a loving home – with people who give her security, safety, and a real family life. Emma is looking for a home where she can arrive in peace and learn the dog 1×1 step by step with loving consistency. For such a cute puppy brings not only joy but also responsibility. House training, being left alone, basic obedience, and all the small and big challenges of everyday life must first be learned. For this, time, patience, and understanding are needed. Anyone who is aware of this wonderful task and wants to accompany Emma through life with love will receive a loyal, gentle, and enchanting companion for life. Anyone who wants to give Emma a home is very welcome to contact us ❤️ This dog is waiting at the Animal Shelter Farm 'Hope' for his people – the farm itself is looking forward to any support so that the dogs can continue to be well cared for.

DE·Show original

About Emma ♀ 🇭🇺 -reserviert

What life with Emma ♀ 🇭🇺 -reserviert looks like

Emma ♀ 🇭🇺 -reserviert is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Tierschutzverein Hundehilfe Hinterland e.V. in Biedenkopf.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Emma ♀ 🇭🇺 -reserviert, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Emma ♀ 🇭🇺 -reserviert?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein Hundehilfe Hinterland e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Emma ♀ 🇭🇺 -reserviert on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Emma ♀ 🇭🇺 -reserviert if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzverein Hundehilfe Hinterland e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Emma ♀ 🇭🇺 -reserviert already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Emma ♀ 🇭🇺 -reserviert isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein Hundehilfe Hinterland e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Emma ♀ 🇭🇺 -reserviert and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
