This pair of siblings, Libélula and Escarabajo, were born in the house where their mother lived. They were very neglected and full of ticks. One day they escaped, and a friend found them, picked them up, and brought them to the animal shelter. Since Escarabajo did not have a chip, they stayed at the animal shelter. Escarabajo and Libélula are two little brothers who need time to trust. They arrived very scared of people, disoriented, and always on alert. They only had each other, and Escarabajo, more fearful than his sister, tried to scare us off to protect her. Slowly, with time and patience, they have gained trust in their surroundings and in us. Finally, they start to understand that everything that comes from people is good and that they can relax a little. Still, they are still fearful of strangers. For now, they do not go for walks, but they already start to accept petting and being handled, although they are still intimidated by it. Libélula is more nervous and bold; when she trusts, she does not stay still and is a bit less fearful. Escarabajo is more calm, reflective, and cautious, but also more timid. Now they need to start exploring more of the world and discover all the good that is outside. They need a family with a lot of patience and no rush, that gives them the time they need to trust little by little and teaches them the life they deserve. Ideally, there should be another puppy in the house if they do not go together, especially for Escarabajo, who is more introverted and needs to see what other dogs do to feel secure. Libélula y Escarabajo son dos hermanos que nacieron en la casa donde vivía su madre, pero crecieron en condiciones de mucho descuido y con abundantes garrapatas. Tras escaparse, fueron encontrados por un colaborador que los recogió y los llevó al albergue. Al no tener chip, han quedado bajo nuestro cuidado. Escarabajo llegó al albergue hace ya varios meses junto a su hermana Libélula. Los dos habían vivido prácticamente aislados del mundo y llegaron con muchísimo miedo. Hoy siguen siendo perros temerosos, pero han avanzado muchísimo. Escarabajo es un claro ejemplo de todo lo que puede conseguir un perro cuando se siente seguro. Gracias a convivir con otros perros, se ha atrevido poco a poco a descubrir el mundo. Y cuando te conoce y confía en ti, aparece un perro simpático, juguetón, atrevido, explorador y tremendamente cotilla. Le encanta jugar con otros perros, perseguirles, bañarse, investigar y disfrutar. Eso sí, Escarabajo necesita una familia que esté dispuesta a venir a conocerle un par de veces, darle tiempo y acompañarle con paciencia durante su adaptación. Lo ideal sería un entorno tranquilo, porque todavía le cuesta desenvolverse cuando hay mucho ruido, mucha gente o demasiados estímulos. También sería estupendo que conviviera con otro perro, ya que cuando está con otros perros, se atreve a hacer cosas que sólo todavía le cuestan. Porque una vez que Escarabajo confía en ti, todo cambia, y de verdad que es un perro increíble esperando a tener la oportunidad de demostrarlo. Analiticas de leishmania negativa. Ya está castrado.
