Meet Esme – A Sweet-Natured Greyhound Looking for a Patient and Loving Home Esme is a lovely 5-year-old greyhound who came into our care alongside who we believe to be her sister, Rose. While Rose is the more outgoing of the pair, Esme is a little quieter and less confident, and will need a family who can give her the time, patience and reassurance she needs to settle into home life and build her confidence. Once she feels safe and comfortable, Esme is a gentle and affectionate girl who enjoys spending time with her people. She likes getting out and about for walks and, with continued encouragement, will flourish as she discovers the world at her own pace. Esme would love a calm home where she can relax, enjoy a routine and take things slowly. Watching her confidence grow and seeing her true personality shine through will be incredibly rewarding for the lucky family who adopts her. Although it would be wonderful if Esme and Rose could find a home together, they are independent of one another and could be rehomed separately. Esme could potentially live with another calm, friendly dog following a successful introduction. She may also be suitable to live with sensible children who can understand that she may need a little extra time to settle and feel secure.
