Like a typical young cat, Esmeralda is full of energy. Esmeralda enjoys playing and, as an adventurous type, would happily explore the world outside her room. This nice and lively little girl is always on the go. At HESY, Esmeralda has become friends with her roommate Odelma, and is primarily looking for a home together with her. Alternatively, a home where there is already a social cat without a companion. We ask applicants to familiarize themselves with the Scottish Fold breed before filling out the application. The folded ears of a Fold cat are the result of a genetic mutation that also causes the cat to have skeletal and joint problems, arthritis, and increasing pain. In Finland, Scottish Fold cats are not accepted into the Finnish Cat Association's register.

Tyypilliseen nuoren kissan tapaan Esmeraldalta ei vauhtia puutu. Esmeralda intoutuu mielellään leikkiin ja seikkailunhaluisena tyyppinä lähtisi mieluusti myös tutkimaan huoneensa ulkopuolista maailmaa. Tämä kiltti ja reipas tyttönen on aina menossa mukana. HESYllä Esmeralda on tullut juttuun huonekaverinsa Odelman kanssa, ja etsii ensisijaisesti kotia yhdessä tämän kanssa. Vaihtoehtoisesti kotiin, jossa on jo sosiaalinen kissa vailla kaveria. Pyydämme hakijoita perehtymään scottish fold -rotuun ennen hakemuksen täyttämistä. Fold-kissan luppakorvat ovat seurausta geenimutaatiosta, joka aiheuttaa kissalle myös luusto- ja rusto-oireita, nivelrikkoa ja lisääntyviä kipuja. Suomessa scottish fold -kissoja ei hyväksytä Suomen Kissaliitto ry:n rekisteriin.
