A volunteer found a very thin mother dog one day. She was only 6 to 7 months old and, given her 11 kg, the volunteer didn't expect her to be pregnant. As the weeks passed, she got heavier and then a light bulb went on... she was pregnant and too late to be neutered. She gave birth to 6 puppies and Fanouris is one of them. Fanouris is an energetic boy who loves to play and likes other dogs very much. He also gets along well with cats and children. At first, Fanouris is a bit shy but if there are cookies, he quickly forgets his shyness. He has a sweet and gentle character. Fanouris is staying with a foster family in Greece. Update January 2024: Fanouris is a very energetic dog, he loves to run and play with the other dogs and also with the volunteers at the shelter, although he is still a bit shy and prefers to be the one who makes contact. He is a bit cheeky and runs after the volunteers to tap them with his paws, but still has a bit of a nervous energy and doesn't want to sit still for a lot of petting. He will probably calm down a lot if he is in a quieter environment. He weighs 20 kg and is 50 cm tall.

Op een dag vond een vrijwilliger een moederhond die erg mager was. Ze was pas 6 a 7 maanden oud en gezien haar 11 kg had de vrijwilliger niet verwacht dat zij drachtig was. Naarmate de weken verstreken werd ze steeds zwaarder en toen begon er een lampje te branden……. ze was zwanger en te laat om haar te laten neutraliseren. Ze beviel van 6 pups en Fanouris is daar één van. Fanouris is een energiek ventje die dol is op spelen en andere honden erg leuk vindt. Hij kan het ook goed vinden met katten en kinderen. In het begin is Fanouris een beetje verlegen maar als er koekjes zijn is hij zijn verlegenheid snel vergeten. Hij heeft een lief zachtaardig karakter. Fanouris verblijft bij een opvanggezin in Griekenland. Update januari 2024: Fanouris is een zeer energieke hond, hij houdt van rennen en spelen met de andere honden en ook met de vrijwilligers van de shelter al blijft hij nog steeds een beetje verlegen en is het liefst degene die contact maakt. Hij is een beetje brutaal en komt achter de vrijwilligers aan rennen om ze met zijn pootjes te tikken, maar heeft nog steeds een beetje een nerveuze energie en wil niet stil blijven zitten om veel geaaid te worden. Hij zal waarschijnlijk veel tot rust komen als hij zich in een rustigere omgeving bevindt. Hij weegt 20 kg en is 50 cm hoog.
