adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Fibi is a small, tri-colored magic mouse with black, white, and brown accents, living up to her name. Delicate, sweet, and simply irresistible – a true little "Fibi-wonder" that sneaks into hearts quietly. The female dog, around 5–6 months old, had a tough start in life: her owner passed away, and suddenly, no one was there to take care of her. Along with her brother, Drops, she found herself facing an uncertain future. Currently, Fibi lives on a new foster home in Cluj – but in pure outdoor living conditions. For the sensitive mouse, this isn't easy, as she is very people-oriented and craves closeness, security, and a warm spot by "her" humans. Characteristically, Fibi is an alert, playful young female dog, who curiously explores her environment. However, with people, she is cautious and reserved – not a whirlwind that immediately demands center stage, but a gentle soul that needs a little time. But once her trust is won, she shows her wonderful nature: loving, cheerful, and clingy – a true little heart on four paws. Like her brother, Fibi also has short legs, so we assume she will likely remain small when fully grown – a charming, captivating companion for all life stages. She gets along well with other dogs, so a confident only dog could provide her with additional security. Of course, Fibi still has a lot to learn: house training, leash manners, basic commands, and being left alone. With patience, loving guidance, and joy in growing together, she will surely develop into a loyal companion. Fibi travels microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, flea-treated, and with an EU pet passport after a positive adoption. Who will give this little Fibi her happy ending – and make her personal "Fibi-wonder" come true? Many thanks, Bibi D.! You named Fibi! Date: 27.04.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Vielen Dank Bibi D.! Du hast Fibi ihren Namen geschenkt! Stand: 27.04.2026

About Fibi

What life with Fibi looks like

Fibi is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Fibi, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Fibi?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Fibi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Fibi if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Fibi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Fibi isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Fibi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
