Fifa

Mixed Breed Cat · Female · Young · 1 year

Fifa was brought to Bristol ARC when she was found straying. A beautiful, sweet-natured girl who loves being around people. She’s wonderfully affectionate and isn’t shy about asking for attention and she is very happy to let you know when she’d like a good fuss! While she can sometimes be a little enthusiastic in her search for cuddles, she soon settles down and loves curling up beside you for a gentle snuggle. She is a gorgeous girl and is very good at using her charm to earn a few extra treats! She’s full of personality and brings plenty of character and entertainment to every day. When Fifa first arrived, she was a little particular about her food and preferred generic cat food with a small amount of tuna mixed in. Since then, she has gained confidence and now enjoys her meals with a healthy appetite. Overall, Fifa is a gentle, loving cat with a curious and inquisitive nature. She would thrive in a home where she can enjoy plenty of companionship, affection, and opportunities to explore her surroundings at her own pace, outdoor access is required. About Fifa

What life with Fifa looks like

Fifa is a small young adult mixed breed cat cat waiting at Bristol Animal Rescue Centre in Bristol.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Fifa, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Fifa?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Bristol Animal Rescue Centre handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Fifa on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Fifa if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Bristol Animal Rescue Centre will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Fifa already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Fifa isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Bristol Animal Rescue Centre early rather than rehoming privately; they know Fifa and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
