Luke

Mixed Breed Cat · Male · Kitten

Looking for: A home that would welcome a chaos gremlin rather than a cat Luke is approximately 6-9 months old and was abandoned by his previous family. Fortunately, Luke has decided that humans are still the greatest thing ever invented. Luke is not for the faint-hearted. Luke is a Stage 5 Clinger with little regard for boundaries and absolutely no understanding of personal space. Luke isn't happy unless he's in your company, on your lap, under your feet, draped over your shoulders, or attempting to accompany you to the bathroom. If Luke could be surgically attached to his favourite person, he would happily sign the consent forms himself. Luke is also convinced that the normal rules of sleeping do not apply to him. He can frequently be found fast asleep in positions that look wildly uncomfortable, medically questionable, and occasionally defy the laws of physics altogether. Despite being let down in the past, Luke remains one of the friendliest, most affectionate cats you'll ever meet. He loves attention, seeks out company wherever he can find it, and firmly believes that every activity is a group activity. Luke loves being the centre of attention and would be happiest in a home where he can be the only pet, soaking up all the love and companionship for himself. If you're looking for an independent cat who occasionally acknowledges your existence, Luke is probably not the cat for you. If you've ever wished for a furry little shadow who thinks the sun rises and sets with you, Luke may be exactly what you've been looking for … Just be aware that if you adopt Luke, you're not getting a cat - you're getting a tiny chaos gremlin with attachment issues and absolutely no respect for personal boundaries If you think you can keep up with this affectionate ball of energy, please complete the application form by using the link below to apply for Luke

About Luke

What life with Luke looks like

Luke is a very small puppy/kitten mixed breed cat cat waiting at RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire Branch in United Kingdom.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Luke, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Luke?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire Branch handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Luke on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Luke if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire Branch will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Luke already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Luke isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire Branch early rather than rehoming privately; they know Luke and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
