Flo & Skylar

Mixed Breed Β· Female Β· Adult Β· 4 years

Age: 4 years old and 2 years old. Can live with: Could live with children aged 15yrs+. No cats or dogs. πŸ’• Two generations, one forever home β€” meet Flo & Skylar πŸ’• Beautiful Flo and Skylar are a mum-and-daughter duo hoping to start the next chapter of their lives together. 🏑🐾 Flo is a gorgeous 4-year-old tabby and mum to 2-year-old black and white Skylar. Sadly, these sweet girls found themselves in our care after their owner passed away, turning the world they knew completely upside down. πŸ’” Despite everything changing around them, they have shown us what absolutely lovely cats they are. Flo is definitely the boss β€” as every mum should be! πŸ˜‚ She’s a confident, affectionate girl who adores a fuss and is more than happy to take charge. Skylar is a little more reserved than her mum, preferring to take her time and investigate things at her own pace. She’s a curious, sweet girl who just needs a little reassurance before letting her lovely personality shine. πŸ₯° Together, they make a gorgeous pair and we would love to see them settled back into a home where they can feel safe, loved and secure again. 🏑 Flo & Skylar are looking for:🐾 A forever home together🐾 No other pets🐾 Ideally an adult-only home, although sensible older teens could be a good match🐾 Plenty of fuss, love and cosy places to snooze!

About Flo & Skylar

What life with Flo & Skylar looks like

Flo & Skylar is a adult mixed breed animal waiting at RSPCA Brighton and the Heart of Sussex in United Kingdom.

Every animal has their own temperament and history. The shelter knows Flo & Skylar far better than any listing can convey β€” ask about daily routine, ideal household, and what kind of adopter they're hoping for.

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Flo & Skylar, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Flo & Skylar?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Brighton and the Heart of Sussex handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Flo & Skylar on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Flo & Skylar if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad β€” RSPCA Brighton and the Heart of Sussex will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Flo & Skylar already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most animals on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Flo & Skylar isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Brighton and the Heart of Sussex early rather than rehoming privately; they know Flo & Skylar and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
