Flora und ihre Brüder

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Young · 1 year

We are a wonderful sibling quartet and are now old enough (we were born around late March) to be looking for our own home. My three brothers and I came from a garden where animal friends discovered us and informed the cat help. Because our mom was nowhere to be seen for several days, we were caught, and the cat protectors still hoped that mom would show up. But unfortunately, that didn't happen. So we had to grow up without mom, but we are on a foster home with other cats and are learning social behavior there. The four of us are doing well and have the chance at a loving forever home. We only want to move in as a pair. Either with one of our siblings or with one of the big cats here at the foster home. We don't like going outside. We are content with being suitable for apartment living and having a cat-safe netted balcony. My brothers Freddy and Fritzle are a strong team and are always found together. They are curious and very active, always playing. And when they are not playing, Freddy likes to cuddle. He loves to lick the hands of those who pet him and starts his top-notch snuggling motor. Fritzle is more reserved at first but warms up quickly. I need some time to warm up, but once I realize no one wants to harm me, I also enjoy the cuddles and purr like a motor. And you will love cuddling with me because I have very fluffy fur. Overall, I am much more laid-back, and my brother Finn is also that kind of guy. Additionally, he is the most reserved of us. But don't worry, that will change. So, we hope we are exactly your type and can soon become your family members forever. By the way, we need to be neutered by around 6 months to prevent any unwanted litters, and the cat help will make sure of that. If you can offer us a play paradise as a pair, then contact our foster mom to introduce yourself so she knows if we are a good match.

What life with Flora und ihre Brüder looks like

Flora und ihre Brüder is a large young adult mixed breed cat waiting at Katzenhilfe Stuttgart e.V..

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Flora und ihre Brüder, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Flora und ihre Brüder?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Katzenhilfe Stuttgart e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Flora und ihre Brüder on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Flora und ihre Brüder if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Katzenhilfe Stuttgart e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Flora und ihre Brüder already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Flora und ihre Brüder isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Katzenhilfe Stuttgart e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Flora und ihre Brüder and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
