Florian und Alfred ' zwei liebenswerte Clowns

Mixed Breed · Male

Florian and Alfred are two young, approximately one-year-old tomcats about whom not much can be said other than that they are simply wonderful! That’s exactly what they are. Both are typically playful for their age and have a lot of mischief in their heads. Both love people and are overjoyed about cuddles. Florian is a bit more extroverted than Alfred and very talkative. He likes to climb onto his person’s shoulder and chats a hamburger into their ear. Alfred is a bit more reserved but no less interested in all interactions with people. The two are simply wonderful and would definitely fit into almost any family. Other pets or small children are also no problem. Since the two were found outdoors, we assume they are used to free roam. Therefore, we only place the charming brothers in a home in a traffic-calmed, cat-friendly environment. This cat needs outdoor access.

DE·Show original

About Florian und Alfred ' zwei liebenswerte Clowns

What life with Florian und Alfred ' zwei liebenswerte Clowns looks like

Florian und Alfred ' zwei liebenswerte Clowns is a adult mixed breed cat waiting at Tierheim Drakenburg in Drakenburg.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Florian und Alfred ' zwei liebenswerte Clowns, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Florian und Alfred ' zwei liebenswerte Clowns?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Drakenburg handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Florian und Alfred ' zwei liebenswerte Clowns on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Florian und Alfred ' zwei liebenswerte Clowns if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim Drakenburg will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Florian und Alfred ' zwei liebenswerte Clowns already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Florian und Alfred ' zwei liebenswerte Clowns isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Drakenburg early rather than rehoming privately; they know Florian und Alfred ' zwei liebenswerte Clowns and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
