We rescued Freya and her siblings together from the kill shelter. All five are incredibly sweet, friendly, and playfully appropriate for their age. Generally, however, they tend to be a bit calmer and more reserved than other dogs their age—which can actually be quite pleasant. By now, they’ve settled in nicely with us and are more than ready for their forever homes. At our facility, the siblings are currently getting to know canine companions of all sizes and ages, laying the foundation for comprehensive socialization. They’re also being accustomed, alongside our volunteers, to walking on leash and living indoors. We’re now looking for a home for Freya where she can receive loving yet consistent training. The young lady would happily join motivated first-time dog owners—provided that, at the outset, supervision by a competent dog trainer is ensured, so that no mistakes creep into her upbringing. An experienced, confident first dog would certainly make Freya’s transition into her new life easier—but it’s not a requirement.

Die fünf sind freundlich und altersentsprechend verspielt. Allgemein zeigen sie sich jedoch ein wenig ruhiger und zurückhaltender als andere Hunde in ihrem Alter, was durchaus sehr angenehm sein kann. Mittlerweile haben sich gut bei uns eingelebt und sind mehr als bereit für ihr Für-immer-Zuhause. Bei uns lernen die Geschwister aktuell Artgenossen aller Größen und jeden Alters kennen, um den Grundstein einer umfangreichen Sozialisierung zu legen. Auch an das Laufen an der Leine und das Leben im Haus werden sie an der Seite unserer Volontäre zur Zeit gewöhnt. Für Freya suchen wir nun ein Zuhause, in dem sie eine liebevolle, aber ebenso konsequente Erziehung erfahren darf. Aktuell zeigt sich Freya schon willensstark und dominant ihren Geschwistern gegenüber, weswegen wir davon ausgehen, dass ihre Erziehung im neuen Zuhause schon etwas Hundeerfahrung vorausgesetzt. Ideal wäre es, wenn bereits zu Beginn die Betreuung durch einen kompetenten Hundetrainer gewährleistet ist und keine kleinen Kinder im Haushalt leben. Ein souveräner Ersthund würde Freya den Start in ihr neues Leben sicher erleichtern, ist aber keine Voraussetzung für eine
