Freya wurde vom Veterinäramt beschlagnahmt und in eine Auffangstation gegeben. Der Besitzer hatte sich nicht um sein Tier gekümmert. Auf sich allein gestellt stromerte Freya durch die Straßen und gefährdete dadurch sich und Autofahrer. Auch wenn in der Station Tötungen in der Regel nicht mehr stattfinden hätte Freya in Ungarn mit ihren 8 Jahren keine Chance, diesen Ort zu verlassen. Ancsa nahm sich ihrer an und nun versuchen wir, für die freundliche Hündin ein liebevolles Zuhause zu finden. Im Tierheim angekommen genoss Freya sichtlich den ersten Freilauf seit Monaten. Sie zeigt sich aufmerksam, neugierig und sucht Kontakt zu den Menschen. Inzwischen hat Freya etwas an Gewicht zugelegt, das Fell sieht schon besser aus, auch wenn im Tierheim kaum Zeit für regelmäßiges Bürsten ist. Bei der Fellpflege verhält sich Freya übrigens sehr artig und so wurde schon tütenweise Totfell ausgekämmt. Andere Hunde braucht Freya nicht unbedingt zu ihrem Glück. Sie kommt mit Artgenossen zurecht, solange sie nicht zu dominant und distanzlos auftreten. Wir hoffen, dass Freya ein Herz berühren kann und auf ihre nicht mehr ganz jungen Tage in ein liebevolles Zuhause reisen darf. Freya wurde beim Routinecheck mittels Idexx Snap 4dx Test positiv auf Herzwurm getestet. Mit der Therapie wurde bereits begonnen.
