Fuzzy

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 2 years

LOOKING FOR A FOREVER HOME Fuzzy is a 2 year old male cat who came into the care of the RSPCA in early December 2025 when his owner had to go into a care home. Fuzzy with need to be an indoor cat with no other cats. Fuzzy isn't keen on young children so an adult family or one with older children only please. Fuzzy is shy & a little nervous, but with plenty of tlc he will soon be your loyal companion. If you can offer a home to Fuzzy, please ring our Rehoming Co-ordinator on (9am to 2pm Mon-Fri) (Please note that we are now only rehoming within the RSPCA Lincolnshire East branch area) oplus_32

About Fuzzy

What life with Fuzzy looks like

Fuzzy is a small young adult mixed breed cat waiting at RSPCA Lincolnshire East in United Kingdom.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Fuzzy, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Fuzzy?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. RSPCA Lincolnshire East handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Fuzzy on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Fuzzy if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — RSPCA Lincolnshire East will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Fuzzy already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Fuzzy isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with RSPCA Lincolnshire East early rather than rehoming privately; they know Fuzzy and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
