Galaxy

Mixed Breed · Female · Baby · 5 months

Galaxy is a sweet and affectionate boy who is always on the lookout for attention and fuss. Naturally curious, he loves being involved in whatever’s happening around him. He’s a big foodie especially when treats or fresh veggies are on offer! You’ll find him waiting at the door each morning, ready for breakfast. He is looking for a loving home where he can be bonded with a neutered female rabbit. Rehoming fees: We ask for a minimum rehoming fee of £70 for our rabbits. This is to help cover our costs. All rabbits are neutered, up to date with all vaccinations and treated for E.cuniculi.Rehoming requirements:We base our rehoming requirements off the RWAF guidelines. Please click here to read more. About Galaxy

What life with Galaxy looks like

Galaxy is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed rabbit waiting at PACT Animal Sanctuary in United Kingdom.

Rabbits are social animals — most shelters recommend adopting them in bonded pairs rather than alone. They need fresh hay daily, several hours of out-of-cage time, and rabbit-safe spaces to explore. They live eight to twelve years, longer than many people expect.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Galaxy, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Galaxy?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. PACT Animal Sanctuary handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Galaxy on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Galaxy if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — PACT Animal Sanctuary will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Galaxy already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most rabbits on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Galaxy isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with PACT Animal Sanctuary early rather than rehoming privately; they know Galaxy and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
