Gamberetti came to our shelter because his former owners unfortunately didn't have enough time for him anymore. Here, the big, orange charmer shows his best side. Gamberetti loves petting and generally thinks attention is a pretty good invention. He especially enjoys when everything revolves around him. After his daily dose of affection, he likes to retreat to a cozy den and indulge in another great passion: his beauty sleep. Gamberetti has not lived with other cats before. Here, he currently shares his room with two other males, which has worked well so far. Therefore, we could imagine him moving in with a quiet second cat who is not necessarily looking for an intimate feline friendship. However, Gamberetti would definitely have no objections to living as a solitary prince. After all, that would mean more attention for him. He has had little contact with children so far. However, due to his open and friendly nature, we can imagine him well in a family with children. Gamberetti is already familiar with outdoor freedom. Therefore, he should also be given the opportunity to go on an outdoor adventure in his new home.

Gamberetti kam zu uns ins Tierheim, da seine ehemaligen Besitzer leider nicht mehr genügend Zeit für ihn hatten. Bei uns zeigt sich der grosse, orange Charmeur von seiner besten Seite. Gamberetti liebt Streicheleinheiten und findet grundsätzlich, dass Aufmerksamkeit eine ziemlich gute Erfindung ist. Besonders toll ist es natürlich, wenn sich dabei alles um ihn dreht. Hat er seine tägliche Portion Zuwendung getankt, zieht er sich gerne in eine gemütliche Höhle zurück und widmet sich einer weiteren grossen Leidenschaft: seinem Schönheitsschlaf. Mit anderen Katzen hatte Gamberetti bisher noch nicht zusammengelebt. Bei uns teilt er sich aktuell sein Zimmer mit zwei anderen Katern, was bislang gut funktioniert. Deshalb könnten wir uns vorstellen, dass er zu einer ruhigen Zweitkatze ziehen könnte, die ebenfalls nicht unbedingt auf der Suche nach einer innigen Katzenfreundschaft ist. Gegen ein Leben als alleiniger Prinz hätte Gamberetti aber ganz bestimmt auch nichts einzuwenden. So bleibt schliesslich mehr Aufmerksamkeit für ihn. Mit Kindern hatte er bisher nur wenige Berührungspunkte. Aufgrund seines offenen und freundlichen Wesens können wir ihn uns aber gut in einer Familie mit Kindern vorstellen. Freigang kennt Gamberetti bereits. Deshalb soll er auch in seinem neuen Zuhause wieder die Möglichkeit bekommen, draussen auf Entdeckungstour zu gehen.
