Imani, a sweet cat, came to our shelter because her former owners got divorced and were unable to care for her properly. Upon arrival, Imani quickly made it clear that she loves people. As soon as you enter the room, the little cuddly queen is ready. Imani is extremely affectionate and clearly enjoys attention, especially in the form of petting. She can generally live with other cats, but her enthusiasm for feline company is limited. She doesn't necessarily need a companion and would probably feel very comfortable as a single princess. Alternatively, a quiet, social cat companion who doesn't constantly want to cuddle with her would also be possible. Imani is already familiar with outdoor life and doesn't want to give it up in the future. Therefore, we are looking for a rural home for her, where she can go outside after a proper adjustment period and explore her surroundings on her own paws.

Die süsse Katzendame Imani kam zu uns ins Tierheim, weil sich ihre ehemaligen Besitzer scheiden liessen und ihr dadurch leider nicht mehr gerecht werden konnten. Bei uns angekommen, hat Imani ziemlich schnell klargemacht, dass sie Menschen super findet. Kaum betritt man den Raum, steht die kleine Schmusekönigin auch schon parat. Imani ist extrem verschmust und geniesst Aufmerksamkeit sichtlich, am liebsten natürlich in Form von Streicheleinheiten. Mit anderen Katzen kann Imani grundsätzlich leben, allerdings hält sich ihre Begeisterung für kätzische Gesellschaft eher in Grenzen. Sie braucht nicht zwingend ein Gspänli und würde sich als Einzelprinzessin vermutlich pudelwohl fühlen. Alternativ wäre auch ein ruhiges, soziales Katzen-Gspänli möglich, das nicht ständig auf Kuschelkurs mit ihr gehen möchte. Das Freigängerleben kennt Imani bereits und möchte darauf auch in Zukunft nicht verzichten. Deshalb suchen wir für sie ein ländliches Zuhause, in dem sie nach einer angemessenen Eingewöhnungszeit wieder nach draussen darf und ihre Umgebung auf eigene Pfote erkunden kann.
