Calzone came to our shelter because his owners had to move and could no longer provide him with outdoor access in his new home. The freedom-loving cat did not like this at all and began to become untidy. Here at the shelter, Calzone shows himself to be an incredibly sweet, affectionate and lively little whirlwind. Not for nothing is he lovingly called "Zappelfilipp" by us. As soon as someone enters his room, he is immediately on hand and greets his visitors with great joy. The talkative cat naturally always has something to say. Calzone loves to be stroked and brushed. He actually loves just about everything, as long as a person is there to give him attention. Despite his lively nature, he can also settle down wonderfully and likes to lie on someone's lap for a long time to enjoy closeness and stroking. We are currently unable to assess how Calzone gets along with other cats. He currently lives in a single room here and also lived as a single prince in his previous home. In order for the freedom-loving cat to finally go on his beloved excursions again, Calzone will only be placed in a home with low-traffic outdoor access. There, the little Zappelfilipp wants people who have just as much fun with his cheerful, affectionate and lively nature as we do.

Calzone kam zu uns ins Tierheim, weil seine Besitzer umziehen mussten und ihm im neuen Zuhause keinen Freigang mehr ermöglichen konnten. Das gefiel dem freiheitsliebenden Kater so gar nicht und er begann, unsauber zu werden. Bei uns zeigt sich Calzone als unglaublich süsser, anhänglicher und aufgestellter kleiner Wirbelwind. Nicht umsonst wird er von uns liebevoll «Zappelfilipp» genannt. Sobald jemand sein Zimmer betritt, ist er sofort zur Stelle und begrüsst seine Besucher*innen voller Freude. Dabei hat der gesprächige Kater natürlich auch immer einiges zu erzählen. Streicheln und Bürsten findet Calzone grossartig. Eigentlich findet er so ziemlich alles toll, solange ein Mensch dabei ist, der ihm Aufmerksamkeit schenkt. Trotz seiner quirligen Art kann er aber auch wunderbar zur Ruhe kommen und liegt gerne ausgiebig auf dem Schoss, um Nähe und Streicheleinheiten zu geniessen. Wie Calzone mit anderen Katzen zurechtkommt, können wir momentan noch nicht beurteilen. Bei uns bewohnt er derzeit ein Einzelzimmer und auch in seinem bisherigen Zuhause lebte er als Einzelprinz. Damit der freiheitsliebende Kater endlich wieder auf seine geliebten Streifzüge gehen kann, wird Calzone nur in ein Zuhause mit verkehrsarmem Freigang vermittelt. Dort wünscht sich der kleine Zappelfilipp Menschen, die genauso viel Freude an seiner fröhlichen, verschmusten und lebhaften Art haben wie wir.
