Gimli – still waiting for his chance Gimli was found on the streets of Spain by animal welfare workers in December 2023 and brought to our partner shelter in Los Barrios. Unfortunately, his situation hasn’t changed since then: the beautiful mixed-breed male dog continues to wait in the animal shelter for the right people to discover him. Gimli is a big, clumsy fellow full of energy and joy for life. When off-leash, he shows his curious, playful side and always tries to get other dogs to join in – although his stormy nature isn’t always immediately understood by everyone. He generally gets along well with fellow animals and shares his pen. However, Gimli can be a bit selective with people. Therefore, we are looking for a home without small children, ideally with people who have experience with dogs and will accept him as he is, giving him clear, loving guidance. Gimli brings a lot of intelligence, charm, and the typical “will to please” with him. With the right guidance, he can develop into a wonderful companion. We wish for Gimli an active home where he can not only be loved but also nurtured. Whether hiking, dog sports, or other activities… as long as he can be part of it and share his big heart. Gimli has waited far too long. Maybe you are the people who will finally give him the home he so deserves. Ideally, we are looking for a home for Gimli. At this point, however, a foster home would also be a great help and a huge improvement for Gimli's life.

Mischling Gimli – wartet noch immer auf seine Chance Gimli wurde im Dezember 2023 von Tierschützern auf den Straßen Spaniens gefunden und in unser Partnertierheim nach Los Barrios gebracht. Leider hat sich an seiner Situation seitdem nichts geändert: Der wunderschöne Mischlingsrüde wartet weiterhin im Tierheim darauf, endlich von den richtigen Menschen entdeckt zu werden. Gimli ist ein großer, tollpatschiger Kerl voller Energie und Lebensfreude. Im Auslauf zeigt er seine neugierige, verspielte Seite und versucht stets, andere Hunde zum Mitmachen zu animieren – wenn auch seine stürmische Art nicht immer von allen sofort verstanden wird. Mit Artgenossen versteht er sich grundsätzlich gut und teilt auch seinen Zwinger. Menschen gegenüber ist Gimli manchmal ein wenig wählerisch. Deshalb suchen wir für ihn ein Zuhause ohne kleine Kinder, dafür bei Menschen mit Hundeerfahrung, die ihn annehmen, wie er ist, und ihm klare, liebevolle Führung geben. Gimli bringt viel Intelligenz, Charme und den typischen „Will to please“ mit. Mit der richtigen Anleitung kann er sich zu einem wunderbaren Begleiter entwickeln. Wir wünschen uns für Gimli ein aktives Zuhause, in dem er nicht nur geliebt, sondern auch gefördert wird. Ob gemeinsame Ausflüge, Hundesport oder andere Aktivitäten… Hauptsache, er darf dabei sein und sein großes Herz verschenken. Gimli wartet schon viel zu lange. Vielleicht sind Sie die Menschen, die ihm endlich das Zuhause schenken, das er so sehr verdient. Idealerweise suchen wir für Gimli ein Zuhause.
