Wasserhund-mixed breed Gorda – a particularly pretty female dog Gorda was given up to the animal shelter by her owner. A fate that many older dogs in Spain must endure. Their entire lives, they had a home – whether it was particularly good or not, it was home. And then one day comes, when the dog is loaded into the car and left to an uncertain future in the animal shelter. Gorda carries the whole thing with the greatest grace and makes the best of her unfortunate situation. We hope now that people will find her quickly who know how magical older dogs are and what joy it brings to light up their eyes again. A new home, care, and love, a soft dog bed, being well-fed, and beautiful excursions into nature. This is what Gorda wishes for and what we wish for her. Where are the people who will turn the page for Gorda? As a mixed breed of the water dog, the female dog brings a whole range of wonderful traits – attachment, friendliness, and intelligence. Moreover, these dogs remain active even in advanced age and are far from becoming old and useless. Now, Gorda is waiting for her ticket to a new home or a foster home. Concrete floors and bars should be quickly left behind for her.

Wasserhund-Mischling Gorda – eine besonders hübsche Hundedame Gorda wurde von ihrem Besitzer im Tierheim abgegeben. Ein Schicksal, das viele ältere Hunde in Spanien erleiden müssen. Ihr ganzes Leben lang hatten sie ein Zuhause – ob es nun besonders gut war oder nicht – es war Heimat. Und dann kommt plötzlich ein Tag, an dem der Hund ins Auto verfrachtet wird und im Tierheim seiner ungewissen Zukunft überlassen wird. Gorda trägt das Ganze mit der größtmöglichen Fassung und macht das Beste aus ihrer misslichen Situation. Wir hoffen nun, dass sich recht schnell Menschen finden, die wissen, wie zauberhaft gerade die älteren Hunde sind und welche Freude es macht, ihre Augen wieder zum Leuchten zu bringen. Ein neues Zuhause, Fürsorge und Liebe, ein weiches Körbchen, satt zu essen und schöne Ausflüge in die Natur. Das ist es, was Gorda sich wünscht und was wir ihr wünschen.
