Gosia

Female · Kitten · 6 months

If you’re looking for a kitten who’ll keep you entertained, Gosia might just be your perfect match. 💕 Gosia arrived into our care alongside her siblings, Danny and Karen, after the trio were discovered abandoned in a skip as tiny kittens. Having had very little positive human interaction, they came to us as feral kittens who simply didn’t know that people could be trust people. Fast forward to today, and Gosia has come on in leaps and bounds. Thanks to the patience, love and dedication of her amazing foster mum, she’s blossomed into a happy, playful little girl who’s discovering just how wonderful life can be. Gosia is full of curiosity and confidence. She’s always busy investigating, chasing toys, climbing anything she can find and making sure she doesn’t miss out on whatever’s happening around her. Life is one big adventure, and Gosia intends to experience every second of it! 🐾 Like her brother Danny, Gosia can still be a little cautious in new situations or with unfamiliar people. It’s completely understandable given the start she had in life. But once she realises she’s safe, her playful and affectionate personality soon shines through. She enjoys attention, loves a fuss when she’s in the mood, and after a busy day of kitten antics, she’s more than happy to curl up nearby for a well-earned nap. You may already know Gosia as one of our famous Skip Litter! Alongside Danny and Karen, she’s captured the hearts of so many people who’ve followed their journey on our Facebook and Instagram pages. From frightened feral kittens to the confident youngsters they are today, it’s been an incredible transformation to watch. Gosia has already overcome more than most kittens ever should have to. Now she’s ready for the one thing she’s never had… a forever family. Someone to share her adventures, laugh at her cheeky antics, celebrate her playful spirit and love her for the wonderful little cat she’s become. ✨ Could you be the one to give Gosia the happy ending she deserves? Gosia can be adopted with one of her siblings, or on her own.

About Gosia

What life with Gosia looks like

Gosia is a very small puppy/kitten cat waiting at StraySafe Rescue in United Kingdom.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Gosia, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Gosia?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. StraySafe Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Gosia on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Gosia if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — StraySafe Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Gosia already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Gosia isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with StraySafe Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Gosia and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
