Meet Harley, a 7-year-old tomcat who came to us as an abandoned kitten. Despite never having an owner show up, he's now ready for a loving home. When Harley first arrived, he was extremely uncertain. Everything was exciting and stress had him completely in its grip. He has since shown his true self. Behind his cautious initial impression is a sweet and gentle cat who, once you get to know him, can really enjoy attention. If you approach him calmly and give him time, he can thoroughly enjoy a pat on the head. Food is Harley's way into his heart. With some treats, we have had him experience step by step that people can also mean fun things. That trust grows every day. When Harley feels at ease, his curious side comes out too. For Harley, we are looking for a quiet household where he gets all the time to get used to it. This means a house without children and/or other pets. These are not on his wish list now or in 10 years. An owner with patience and understanding will get the most out of him. Although Harley is no longer allowed to go outside freely, he can be placed as an indoor cat. A well-fenced balcony is a nice bonus for him so that he can safely enjoy the fresh air. It's also important that he has enough space indoors to play, discover and get rid of his energy. Do you think you can offer Harley the quiet and loving home he's looking for? Maak kennis met Harley, een 7-jarige kater die als vondeling bij ons is binnengekomen. Ondanks dat er nooit een eigenaar is komen opdagen, is hij inmiddels helemaal klaar om op zoek te gaan naar een liefdevol thuis. Toen Harley bij ons binnenkwam, was hij ontzettend onzeker. Alles was spannend en de stress had hem volledig in zijn greep. Inmiddels heeft hij laten zien wie hij echt is. Achter zijn voorzichtige eerste indruk schuilt een lieve en zachtaardige kater die, zodra hij je leert kennen, enorm kan genieten van aandacht. Benader je hem rustig en geef je hem de tijd, dan kan hij heerlijk genieten van een aai over zijn koppie. Eten is voor Harley de weg naar zijn hart. Met wat lekkers hebben we hem stap voor stap laten ervaren dat mensen ook leuke dingen kunnen betekenen. Dat vertrouwen groeit nog iedere dag. Wanneer Harley zich eenmaal op zijn gemak voelt, komt ook zijn nieuwsgierige kant naar voren. Voor Harley zoeken we een rustig huishouden waar hij alle tijd krijgt om te wennen. Dit betekent een huisje zonder kinderen en/of andere huisdieren. Deze staan nu niet en over 10 jaar niet op zijn verlanglijstje. Een eigenaar met geduld en begrip zal het meeste uit hem halen. Hoewel Harley niet meer vrij naar buiten mag, kan hij prima geplaatst worden als binnenkat. Een goed afgezet balkon is voor hem een mooie bonus, zodat hij veilig van de buitenlucht kan genieten.
