adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Hasi is a medium-sized dog with very long legs. With his sandy fur and his exceptionally friendly gaze, he brings light and joy into every room. But not only that: With his athletic and active nature, he shows what a love for life should look like. He is a sporty type and loves running and playing. So far, he has shown no hunting ambitions, but these cannot be ruled out. Currently, he is regularly brought to the "Dog Kindergarten," where he then runs with large groups of dogs and interacts with them. Towards male dogs, he can be dominant, but overall, he is very friendly towards other dogs. He has not yet met any cats. Hasi was found alone, and unfortunately, it is unknown why. As he was in an unwanted area, he was at risk of being put down. He was directly taken in by us and is now searching for a home to settle in, to be loved, and for many sporting activities. At 3.5 years old, he has already gone through puberty. Nevertheless, there will certainly be some challenges for the new human-dog team. He needs people who approach him with love and patience, allowing him to settle in and forgiving him one or two mishaps. A visit to dog training classes can also be a meaningful addition after a certain period of getting used to things. Leash walking, house training, and being left alone are still foreign concepts to Hasi. He will test his limits and may possibly forget some things he has learned. But after overcoming this phase, he will certainly become a wonderful companion for life. Hasi is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. He brings an EU pet passport with him and can be adopted after a positive foster home experience. We would be very happy to have a foster home for the sweet man! Who wants to be Hasis lifelong companion? Many thanks to Teddy Farms! You named Hasi! Date: 28.11.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Vielen Dank an Teddy Farms! Ihr habt Hasi seinen Namen geschenkt. About Hasi

What life with Hasi looks like

Hasi is a large adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Hasi, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Hasi?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Hasi on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Hasi if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Hasi already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Hasi isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Hasi and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
