Hazel, Henry, Hikari, Hugo & Hunter

Mixed Breed Cat · Female · Kitten · 3 months

The siblings came to our shelter with their wild mother. Here they grow up in safety and were lovingly and professionally cared for, always under the watchful eyes of their mother. Meanwhile, the little ones are old enough to move to their new home. The boys and the girl would like to move at least in pairs or to an existing, roughly the same age cat. The kittens are very playful, curious and enjoy extensive play and cuddling. Initially, some of them are still a bit reserved, but usually they gain trust very quickly. Until the castration at the age of about six months, the little ones must be kept as indoor cats. As soon as the castration is done and everything is healed, they are looking forward to exploring the big wide world through a cat flap. Their new home should therefore be in a rural area, far from busy roads or rail lines. About Hazel, Henry, Hikari, Hugo & Hunter

What life with Hazel, Henry, Hikari, Hugo & Hunter looks like

Hazel, Henry, Hikari, Hugo & Hunter is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat cat waiting at Tierheim an der Ron.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇨🇭Adopting from Switzerland

Swiss shelters require a home visit (Platzkontrolle) and proof of suitable accommodation. Cantons each have their own additional dog-keeping requirements (e.g. SKN training in some areas). Animals leave sterilized and chipped.

Frequently asked

Adopting Hazel, Henry, Hikari, Hugo & Hunter, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Hazel, Henry, Hikari, Hugo & Hunter?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim an der Ron handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Hazel, Henry, Hikari, Hugo & Hunter on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Hazel, Henry, Hikari, Hugo & Hunter if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierheim an der Ron will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Hazel, Henry, Hikari, Hugo & Hunter already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Hazel, Henry, Hikari, Hugo & Hunter isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim an der Ron early rather than rehoming privately; they know Hazel, Henry, Hikari, Hugo & Hunter and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
