Hetti

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 4 months

adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! We are heartbroken…Rest in Peace, Hetti 🙁 Her story: Hetti was found together with her sisters Zoia and Felina. Hetti is a 4-month-old female puppy and something truly special: her soft, white fur and the black-spotted ears give her a unique appearance, as if someone had lovingly painted tiny spots on her. Add to that her warm gaze and friendly nature: a little miracle on four legs. Character-wise, she is an absolute treasure: loving, outgoing, and very cuddly. She enjoys every pat and often seeks out the company of her primary caregiver. She gets along well with other dogs and shows herself to be friendly, playful, and social. If given the chance, she will happily frolic with her sisters or the other dogs in the shelter – unfortunately, time often doesn’t allow for that. She is expected to grow into a medium-sized female dog and bring with her everything that one could wish for in a harmonious coexistence. Whoever gives this magical girl a home will receive a loving, loyal family member that brightens every day a little. Her new family should also be aware that Hetti has not yet experienced life in a loving family. She still needs to learn the whole puppy ABC and puberty is still ahead of her. Here, she needs people who approach with love and patience, and may need to attend positive dog training classes with her and forgive her one or two mishaps. Leash walking, house training, and being left alone are still foreign words to her. During puberty, she will surely test boundaries and perhaps even forget some things she has learned. But once this phase is overcome, Hetti will definitely make a great lifelong partner. Hetti is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. She brings an EU pet passport with her and can be fostered. We would also be very happy to have a foster home for the sweet mouse. Who will give her a loving forever home? Many thanks to Tobi! You gave Hetti her name. Date: 05.12.

Vielen Dank an Tobi! Du hast Hetti Ihren Namen geschenkt. About Hetti

What life with Hetti looks like

Hetti is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Hetti, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Hetti?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Hetti on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Hetti if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Hetti already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Hetti isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Hetti and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
