Holly

Mixed Breed · Female · Kitten

Life on the streets wasn't easy for me. I was constantly dealing with painful ear infections, recurring ear polyps, sore ulcers in my mouth, and rotten teeth. Every day was uncomfortable, and finding food while feeling so unwell made life even harder. Everything changed when I was rescued. I finally received the treatment I needed, and little by little I started to feel like myself again. Now I'm healthy, comfortable, and enjoying all the things I never had the chance to before. I'm one of the most playful, curious girls you'll ever meet. I can spend hours chasing toys, exploring every corner of the room, and following my favourite people around. I absolutely love human attention and never say no to a fuss. While I can tolerate some other cats, I'd be happiest as the only cat in my forever home, where I can have all the love and attention to myself. I'll be ready to travel in around November 2026, and I can't wait to start the next chapter of my life. If you're looking for a fun, affectionate companion who'll fill your home with laughter and love, I'd be so excited to meet you. About Holly

What life with Holly looks like

Holly is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Help A Stray Cat in Turkey.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇹🇷Adopting from Turkey

The shelter typically completes the animal's vaccinations, microchipping, and pet passport before adoption. Specific fees and process details vary by shelter and country — confirm directly via the contact details in the sidebar.

Frequently asked

Adopting Holly, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Holly?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Help A Stray Cat handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Holly on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Holly if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Help A Stray Cat will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Holly already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Holly isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Help A Stray Cat early rather than rehoming privately; they know Holly and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
