Honden ter adoptie

Male · Puppy · 10 months

This handsome little boy is Beni. Beni is a male with a shoulder height of 49 cm and his estimated birth date is November 2025. As a young puppy, Beni was found with his brothers and sisters on the streets of Romania. Fortunately, they were rescued by a wonderful woman who has been dedicated to stray dogs and dogs living in difficult circumstances for years. Thanks to her, they got a safe place and the chance of a better future. For all his brothers and sisters, that dream has already come true: they have all found their own homes. Only Beni is still waiting for his luck... Because his rescuer now takes in more dogs than she can handle, she has asked Sos Dogs Romania for help. Now Beni is safely in our shelter and can finally look for his own family. ❤️ Beni is a lovely young dog. He is cheerful, social, playful and enjoys life. He gets along well with other dogs and likes to play with his fellow dogs. Beni is also a smart boy who quickly picks up new things. Walking on a leash is already going very well for the first time, Beni shows that he likes to learn. With some patience, positive guidance and love, he will develop into a fantastic housemate. We wish this sweet boy so that he too finally discovers how it feels to have his own bed, his own family and unconditional love. Are you the one who gives Beni that chance? 🐶💕

About Honden ter adoptie

What life with Honden ter adoptie looks like

Honden ter adoptie is a puppy/kitten dog waiting at SOS Dogs Nederland in NN Didam.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇳🇱Adopting from Netherlands

Dutch shelters typically require a household assessment and an adoption contract. Animals are routinely sterilized, microchipped, and registered in the national pet database (NDG) before placement.

Frequently asked

Adopting Honden ter adoptie, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Honden ter adoptie?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. SOS Dogs Nederland handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Honden ter adoptie on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Honden ter adoptie if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — SOS Dogs Nederland will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Honden ter adoptie already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Honden ter adoptie isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with SOS Dogs Nederland early rather than rehoming privately; they know Honden ter adoptie and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (NL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
