Honden ter adoptie

Male · Puppy · 7 months

Meet Bobo, a very sweet and playful young male with an estimated birth date of February 2026. He will grow into a beautiful medium-sized dog and has everything it takes to be a great family dog. Bobo was given up by his owner to the SOS Dogs Romania shelter. There was no clear reason; he was simply no longer wanted. For such a young dog, that is of course very sad. Fortunately, Bobo is now safe and gets the chance to look for a family that will give him a loving future. ❤️ Bobo is a real pleasure-seeker. He is cheerful, energetic and always up for fun. He gets along very well with other dogs and playing is one of his favorite activities. You often see him enthusiastically romping with his dog friends in the shelter. 🐾 Bobo also loves people. He is social, friendly and thoroughly enjoys attention and cuddles. A pat on his head or a cozy moment together makes his day complete. 🥰 Like every young dog, Bobo still has a lot to learn. Life in a house, walking on a leash and all the other things that come with being a family dog are still new to him. With love, patience and positive guidance, he will develop into a fantastic companion for many years. Are you looking for a cheerful, social and playful young dog that will make your life a bit more pleasant? Then Bobo might be waiting for you! 🏡❤️

About Honden ter adoptie

What life with Honden ter adoptie looks like

Honden ter adoptie is a puppy/kitten dog waiting at SOS Dogs Nederland in NN Didam.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇳🇱Adopting from Netherlands

Dutch shelters typically require a household assessment and an adoption contract. Animals are routinely sterilized, microchipped, and registered in the national pet database (NDG) before placement.

Frequently asked

Adopting Honden ter adoptie, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Honden ter adoptie?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. SOS Dogs Nederland handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Honden ter adoptie on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Honden ter adoptie if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — SOS Dogs Nederland will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Honden ter adoptie already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Honden ter adoptie isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with SOS Dogs Nederland early rather than rehoming privately; they know Honden ter adoptie and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (NL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
