How do I contact the shelter about Honden ter adoptie?

Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. SOS Dogs Nederland handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. Can I adopt Honden ter adoptie if I live in another country?

Yes, in most cases. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.

What happens if Honden ter adoptie isn't the right fit?

Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with SOS Dogs Nederland early rather than rehoming privately; they know Honden ter adoptie and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.

Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?

TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (NL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.

Honden ter adoptie

Male · Young · 1 year

Meet Bosco, a cheerful and social male dog with an estimated birth date of August 2025. With a shoulder height of approximately 50 cm, he is a beautiful medium-sized dog. 🐾 Bosco was found on the streets in the Romanian village of Baile Felix. Together with his girlfriend Trixie, he wandered around there. Fortunately, they could be taken in by the SOS Dogs Romania shelter. There, Bosco is safe, but of course he dreams of more: a family of his own and a warm bed to never lose again. ❤️ Bosco is an incredibly sweet, cheerful and social boy. He is positive in life and always greets people enthusiastically. He loves attention and enjoys cuddles and cozy togetherness. His friendly character ensures that he quickly wins everyone's heart. 🥰 Bosco also gets along well with other dogs. He likes to socialize with his fellow dogs and moves easily among the other dogs in the shelter. He has an open character and looks curiously at the world around him. 🐕💕 Bosco still finds walking on a leash a bit scary. That is something he is still learning when he has found his own home. With patience, trust and positive guidance, he will discover step by step how much fun walks can be. Like many dogs from the streets, Bosco still needs to get used to everything that comes with a domestic life. We are looking for a loving family for Bosco that will give him the time to adapt and develop further. In return, you will get a loyal friend who wants to be part of the family and make beautiful memories with you. 🌟
