Dit is Paloma. Paloma is a female dog of approximately 50 cm in height. Her estimated date of birth is October 2023. More than a year ago, Paloma ended up at the animal shelter of Sos Dogs. She was found on the street with her pups. For a long time, she was very shy and not ready for adoption. But with time, she gained trust and therefore we are now looking for a nice owner for her. Paloma is a kind and gentle girl. She is still shy, but has grown so much already! She has really opened up to receiving love. She gets along well with other dogs and follows their example. She finds the leash very exciting (you can also see that in the pictures) but they will slowly train her. She will need an owner who understands that it takes time to gain her trust. Still, we want to give her, after that long time at the animal shelter, a chance at a new life. We are convinced that with the right patient owner, this girl will really blossom. Of course, Paloma still has things to learn. Paloma is still in Romania but can come to the Netherlands if an owner is found for her. If you are interested in Paloma, we would appreciate a message with your living and work situation and any experience you have with dogs. If after an intake conversation it turns out you are a match, an appointment can be made to pick her up at our small shelter in Didam. Paloma is The adoption fee is € 390,-. Dit is Paloma. Paloma is een teefje van ongeveer 50 cm schofthoogte. Haar geschatte geboortedatum is oktober 2023. Ruim een jaar geleden kwam Paloma in het asiel van Sos Dogs terecht. Ze was met haar pups op straat gevonden. Een lange tijd was ze erg verlegen en niet klaar voor adoptie. Maar met tijd kwam ook vertrouwen en daarom gaan we nu op zoek naar een fijn baasje voor haar. Paloma is een lief en zachtaardig meisje. Ze is nog steeds verlegen, maar inmiddels al zoveel gegroeid! Ze heeft zich echt opengezet om liefde te ontvangen. Met de andere honden kan ze goed overweg en volgt ook hun voorbeeld. Ze vindt de riem heel spannend (dat kun je ook zien op de foto’s) maar dat gaan ze langzaam met haar oefenen. Ze zal wel een baasje nodig hebben die begrijpt dat het tijd nodig heeft om haar vertrouwen te winnen. Toch willen we haar, na die lange tijd in het asiel, een kans geven op een nieuw leven. We zijn ervan overtuigd dat bij het juiste geduldige baasje, dit meisje helemaal op gaat bloeien. Natuurlijk zal Paloma nog wel wat dingen moeten leren. Paloma is nog in Roemenië maar kan Nederland komen als er een baasje voor haar gevonden wordt. Als na een intake gesprek blijkt dat jullie een match zijn, dan kan een afspraak gemaakt worden om haar op te halen in onze kleinschalige opvang in Didam Paloma is gesteriliseerd, gevaccineerd, gechipt en heeft een Europees dierenpaspoort.
