Her story: Ida is one of eight siblings—along with Tonda, Alf, Joey, Tashiko, Roberto, Sabsi, and Akashi, she was rescued from poor living conditions by the Animal Police. The puppies lived with their mother with a man who kept them in completely unsuitable conditions. Our animal welfare worker Dorel was immediately willing to take the entire family into the shelter in Busag, but in the end, only the eight puppies were brought. The mother had to stay with the owner, who received a fine and was required to spay her and improve the living conditions. We still hope to take her in someday. Ida is now about four months old and shows playful, curious, and friendly behavior in the company of her siblings. Together with Tonda and Tashiko, she forms the fluffy trio: she has long, fluffy, beautiful brown fur and a dark face that gives her a distinctive, expressive look. In the group, Ida is a happy young female dog who likes to play with the others, run around, and explore the world. Without her siblings, she is still a little unsure and needs some time to warm up. She lets everything happen, but it's clear that familiar dogs and calm people help her feel at ease. We assume Ida—like her siblings—to be a German Shepherd mix. She will likely grow to be medium to large, with her mother weighing around 20 kg. German Shepherds are extremely loyal, intelligent, and hardworking dogs who want to be kept both physically and mentally engaged. Ida will therefore be happy with people who enjoy walks, dog training classes, search games, or tricks and also value calmness and clear structures. In the near future, Ida will enter puberty. This is the phase where many young dogs relearn what they have already learned, test boundaries, and see how serious their people are. For Ida, we are looking for a home where she is accompanied with loving consistency, patience, and humor so that she can develop into a confident, reliable companion. Ida travels microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated to her new home. She will of course bring her EU pet passport with her. Do you fulfill Ida's wish? Ihre Geschichte: Ida ist eine von acht Geschwistern – zusammen mit Tonda, Alf, Joey, Tashiko, Roberto, Sabsi und Akashi wurde sie von der Animal Police aus schlimmen Haltungsbedingungen befreit. Die Welpen lebten mit ihrer Mutter bei einem Mann, der sie unter völlig ungeeigneten Umständen hielt. Unser Tierschützer Dorel erklärte sich sofort bereit, die ganze Familie im Shelter in Busag aufzunehmen, doch letztlich wurden ihm nur die acht Welpen gebracht. Die Mutter musste beim Besitzer bleiben, der eine Strafe erhielt und dazu verpflichtet wurde, sie zu kastrieren und die Haltungsbedingungen zu verbessern. Wir hoffen weiterhin, auch sie irgendwann übernehmen zu dürfen. Ida ist jetzt etwa vier Monate alt und zeigt sich im Kreise ihrer Geschwister verspielt, neugierig und freundlich. Gemeinsam mit Tonda und Tashiko bildet sie das wuschelige Trio: Sie hat langes, wuscheliges, schönes braunes Fell und ein dunkles Gesicht, das ihr einen ganz besonderen, ausdrucksstarken Look verleiht. In der Gruppe ist Ida eine fröhliche junge Hündin, die gern mit den anderen spielt, rennt und die Welt entdeckt. Ohne ihre Geschwister ist sie noch ein klein wenig unsicher und braucht ein bisschen Zeit, um aufzutauen. Sie lässt alles brav über sich ergehen, man merkt aber, dass ihr vertraute Hunde und ruhige Menschen sehr helfen, sich wohlzufühlen. Wir gehen bei Ida – wie bei ihren Geschwistern – von einem Schäferhund-Mix aus. Ausgewachsen wird sie vermutlich mittelgroß bis groß werden, die Mutter wiegt etwa 20 kg. Schäferhunde sind äußerst loyale, intelligente und arbeitsfreudige Hunde, die sowohl körperlich als auch geistig beschäftigt werden möchten. Ida wird sich daher über Menschen freuen, die Spaß an Spaziergängen, Hundeschule, Suchspielen oder Tricks haben und gleichzeitig Wert auf Ruhe und klare Strukturen legen. In absehbarer Zeit kommt Ida in die Pubertät. Das ist die Phase, in der viele junge Hunde das bereits Gelernte noch einmal „vergessen“, Grenzen testen und schauen, wie ernst ihre Menschen es meinen. Für Ida suchen wir darum ein Zuhause, in dem sie mit liebevoller Konsequenz, Geduld und Humor begleitet wird, damit sie sich zu einer souveränen, verlässlichen Begleiterin entwickeln kann. Ida reist gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht in ihr neues Zuhause. Sie wird nach positiver Vorkontrolle gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro vermittelt. Ida bringt selbstverständlich auch ihren EU-Heimtierausweis mit. Erfüllst Du Ida ihren Wunsch? Auch über eine Pflegestelle als Sprungbrett ins neue Leben würde sie sich sehr freuen.
