Η Ήρα έφυγε από το καταφύγιο για να περασει τον χειμώνα σε σπίτι φιλοξενίας στην Αθήνα. Σε ένα ζεστό κρεβάτι, όπως είχε μάθει όλα αυτά τα χρόνια, μέχρι να φύγει από τη ζωή ο άνθρωπός της. Δεν μπορούμε να την αφήσουμε να επιστρέψει πίσω, μόνη σε ένα χωράφι. Δεν έχει μάθει να ζει έτσι. Το μόνο που θέλει είναι έναν άνθρωπο να του κρατάει την καλύτερη συντροφιά. Είναι μια ήρεμη, γλυκιά, ηλικιωμένη σκυλίτσα που τα πάει καλά με όλους τους ανθρώπους αλλά και με τους σκύλους. Είναι ένα υπέροχο πλάσμα που οποίος την γνωρίσει εντυπωσιάζεται από εκείνη. Μέσα στο σπίτι της αρέσει να ξαπλώνει στο κρεβάτι της ή να έρχεται δίπλα σου για χάδια, που τα λατρεύει, όπως και το φαγητό. Είναι απόλυτα ήσυχη μέσα στο σπίτι, μενη μονη της, λερώνει μόνον στη βόλτα.
