Ivy

Mixed Breed · Female

Beautiful Ivy came into our care after living in an environment that wasn’t meeting her needs. Thankfully, she’s now enjoying a much happier chapter in her life and is ready to find a loving forever home. She has been spayed and is fully vaccinated. Ivy is an absolutely delightful bunny with a calm, relaxed and friendly nature. She’s also a curious little soul who loves exploring her surroundings and investigating anything new! Although she has a lovely laid-back side, Ivy also has plenty of energy and enjoys being active. She’s a sociable girl who loves greeting people, often coming over to give a friendly little nose bump to say hello. It’s hard not to fall in love with her adorable personality! 🥰 Having experienced a less-than-ideal start in life, Ivy deserves a future filled with kindness, security and plenty of opportunities to enjoy being a rabbit. She’s now looking for a wonderful forever home where she can enjoy the companionship of a suitable bunny friend, with a family who will give her all the love, space and enrichment she deserves. Could you offer darling Ivy the happy ending she’s been waiting for? 🏡💙

About Ivy

What life with Ivy looks like

Ivy is an adult mixed breed rabbit waiting at Bristol Rabbit Rescue & Friends in United Kingdom.

Rabbits are social animals — most shelters recommend adopting them in bonded pairs rather than alone. They need fresh hay daily, several hours of out-of-cage time, and rabbit-safe spaces to explore. They live eight to twelve years, longer than many people expect.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

Paperwork, vet checks and transport rules differ by species and by country. Ask the shelter what is included and what you will need to arrange before you commit.

Frequently asked

Adopting Ivy, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Ivy?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Bristol Rabbit Rescue & Friends handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Ivy on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Ivy if I live in another country?
Sometimes. Whether a rabbit can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Bristol Rabbit Rescue & Friends what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Ivy already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
What a rabbit comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask Bristol Rabbit Rescue & Friends directly what is included and what Ivy still needs.
What happens if Ivy isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Bristol Rabbit Rescue & Friends early rather than rehoming privately; they know Ivy and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
