Jack Russell Terrier-mixed breed, born 05.08.2011, unneutered Pascha was surrendered to us in February 2021 because he showed non-cooperative behavior in certain situations (he defended, for example, the living room), his owner was pregnant and became afraid of him. Unfortunately, there was a bite incident with a neighbor, which led to Pascha having to undergo a behavioral assessment, which he passed with distinction. The future owner therefore needs a guardian approval. Shortly after the behavioral assessment, he came to us. At the animal shelter, he clearly shows which people he tolerates and which he does not, and he will not hesitate to use his teeth if necessary. Even people he trusts do not get away with everything from him and can be very serious! Therefore, he wears a muzzle during walks and vet visits, which he accepts without issue. He is very compatible with female dogs, and after a liking, with male dogs. Once he has a four-legged partner by his side, he no longer values human company. Since 2023, he has been taking medication due to a heart problem. Despite his advanced age, he is a very agile, sturdy fellow with whom you can have a lot of fun if you accept him as he is. Jack Russel Terrier- Mischling, geboren 05.08.2011, unkastriert Pascha wurde im Februar 2021 bei uns abgegeben, da er sich in bestimmten Situationen nicht kooperativ zeigte (er verteidigte u.a. das Wohnzimmer), die Halterin schwanger war und Angst vor ihm bekam. Leider gab es einen Beißvorfall mit einem Nachbarn, woraufhin Pascha einen Wesenstest machen musste, den er mit Bravour bestand. Der zukünftige Halter braucht also eine Haltergenehmigung. Kurz nach dem Wesenstest kam er dann zu uns. Im Tierheim zeigt er sehr deutlich, welche Menschen er duldet und welche nicht und setzt notfalls auch seine Zähne ein. Auch von ihm vertrauten Personen lässt er sich nicht alles gefallen und kann sehr ernst werden! Daher trägt er bei Spaziergängen und und Tierarztbesuchen einen Maulkorb, den er einwandfrei akzeptiert. Mit Hündinnen ist er sehr verträglich, mit Rüden nach Sympathie. Sobald er eine vierbeinige Partnerin an seiner Seite hat legt er keinen Wert mehr auf menschliche Gesellschaft. Seit 2023 bekommt er wegen einem Herzproblem dauerhaft ein Medikament. Trotz seines hohen Alters ist er ein sehr agiles , kerniges Kerlchen, mit dem man viel Spaß haben kann, wenn man ihn akzeptiert, wie er ist.
