🐾 Meet Jodie – Please Give This Special Girl Her Happily Ever After ❤️ Everyone meet Jodie. For many of you, Jodie will be a very familiar face from both our social media and our website. For a long time, we were looking for a home for Jodie alongside her beloved dad, Charlie. Sadly, Charlie passed away a few weeks ago. 💔 It has taken me quite some time to even be able to write this post and remove their profiles from the website. Charlie never got the chance to make it home, and that is something we will always be incredibly sad about. But we don’t want the same to happen to Jodie. Jodie has coped incredibly well since losing her dad. Of course, she has been sad and a little down, but the whole team have been surrounding her with as much love, comfort and attention as we possibly can. ❤️ And now, more than ever, Jodie needs a family of her own. Jodie really doesn’t ask for much. She is a wonderfully loving, gentle girl who is happy with the simple things in life. 🛏️ She loves her big, squishy beds 🐙 She sleeps with her beloved big blue octopus 🌳 She enjoys pottering around the garden 🚶‍♀️ A couple of gentle 15-minute walks each day are plenty for her 🍽️ She eats well 🏡 She’s wonderfully clean and keeps her bedroom spotless ❤️ She loves people and is happy to see everyone Jodie shows very little interest in other dogs, but we feel she would be happiest as the only dog in the home, where she can have all the love and attention for herself. She also loves children. What we are looking for now is something very special — a family who can look beyond the grey hairs on Jodie’s face and see the wonderful dog underneath. Someone who understands that she has lost the companion she knew and loved, and who will give her the security, patience and unconditional love she deserves. Jodie doesn’t need a big adventure. She doesn’t need a busy lifestyle. She simply needs a sofa, a garden, a comfy bed, someone to love her and a family that is hers. She has spent far too long waiting. Charlie never got to go home. Please don’t let Jodie leave us without knowing what it feels like to have a family of her own. ❤️ If you have room in your home — and, more importantly, room in your heart — for this incredibly special girl, please get in touch. Jodie deserves to be cherished for whatever years she has ahead of her. 🐾❤️
