Ur. ok. 2017 Waga 23 kg Gmina SKIERNIEWICE neutering TAK Inne psy TAK JULEK – a brave little fellow who regained his zest for life and is looking for a loving home. Meet Julk – a 9- or so year old dog with a huge heart who went through very tough times. He arrived at our shelter in a state of extreme starvation, but thanks to careful care and his remarkable strength, he regained his health, his joy, and his zest for life. Despite his difficult experiences, JULEK remains gentle, friendly, and full of trust in humans. He loves human contact and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. His calm disposition makes him an ideal companion for both older individuals and families with children. JULEK can walk on a leash, which makes walks with him a true pleasure. He values both time spent in fresh air and cozy downtime at home. This is a dog who doesn’t need much – all he needs is love, safety, and the presence of his human to be fully happy.

About JULEK

What life with JULEK looks like

JULEK is a senior mixed breed dog waiting at Animal Sos Psiakowo Centrum Adopcyjne in 99-423.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting JULEK, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about JULEK?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Animal Sos Psiakowo Centrum Adopcyjne handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw JULEK on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt JULEK if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Animal Sos Psiakowo Centrum Adopcyjne will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is JULEK already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if JULEK isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Animal Sos Psiakowo Centrum Adopcyjne early rather than rehoming privately; they know JULEK and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
