Asterix and Jussi are two black boy cats, aged about 11.2 years, who can reach a common home. The yellow-eyed Jussi (on the left) is very food-motivated and dares to come near people to eat and play when you get to know them. Asterix (on the right) is green-eyed and much more cautious than his friend, but he can also be tempted by hand to take delicacies. Both boys also have individual white spots on their belly, so they're not exactly full black guys. Boys are good to each other, and they do things with each other when people aren't around. The boys are from the population and used to hanging out with other cats, but have spent many months together in the office area, and have grown attached to each other, even though it doesn't seem like a shirt-and-butt team. The boys also had a history with stomach problems, but they've managed to smooth the stomach with diet. Asterix is also more stress sensitive to friends, which has led to mild urination. However, the boy has not needed any medication, but a stress-free environment and good food and hydration care has kept the symptoms under control. Jussi is gentler and braver than friends, and very perky for food. They both dare to play with a human when the initial tension wears off. There is also reason to watch out for boys playing with toys, or only to give them durable toys, as they may tear their toys apart and at worst eat pieces of toys. So there is at least enough energy in these panthers! The handling of Jussi has also been easy, as the collage boy is submissive and allowed to take care of any trouble without resistance. Asterix is a slightly angrier case, but it has been accessible when the cat's face is covered with a towel. Despite its wild background, neither are particularly difficult cases, even though they do not pet Anna. Perhaps a loving, gentle home where the needs of cats can be taken into account would make them understand the importance of scratching as well? Asterix ja Jussi ovat kaksi mustaa poikakissaa, iältään n. 1-2 vuotiaita, jotka ehtivät yhteistä kotia. Keltasilmäinen Jussi (vasemmalla) on hyvin ruokamotivoitunut ja uskaltaa tulla ihmisen lähelle ruokailemaan ja leikkimäänkin, kun vähän ehtii tutustua. Asterix (oikealla) taas on vihreäsilmäinen ja huomattavasti kaveriaan varovaisempi, mutta yhtälailla hänetkin saa houkuteltua kädestä ottamaan herkkuja. Molemmilla pojilla on myös vatsapuolella yksilölliset, valkoiset laikut, joten ihan kokomustia kaverukset eivät ole. Pojat ovat keskenään hyvää pataa, ja touhuavat keskenään silloin, kun ihmisiä ei ole paikalla. Pojat ovat peräisin populaatiosta, ja tottuneet toisten kissojen seuraan, mutta viettäneet monta kuukautta yhdessä kaksistaan toimitilalla, ja ovat kiintyneet toisiinsa, vaikka ihan paita-ja-peppu-parivaljakolta eivät vaikutakaan. Pojilla ollut myös historiaa vatsavaivojen kanssa, mutta on saatu vatsat tasoitettua ruokavaliolla. Asterix on kaveruksista myös stressiherkempi, jonka takia hänellä on ollut lieviä virtsavaivoja. Energiaa siis näillä panttereilla ainakin riittää! Jussin käsittely on myös onnistunut helposti, sillä kollipoju on alistuva ja antanut hoitaa milloin minkäkin vaivan ilman vastarintaa. Asterix on hituisen kiukkuisempi tapaus, mutta on ollut käsiteltävissä kun kissan kasvot on peitelty pyyhkeellä. Villistä taustastaan huolimatta kumpikaan ei ole erityisen hankalia tapauksia, vaikka eivät silittää annakaan. Ehkä rakastava, lempeä koti jossa kissojen tarpeet osataan huomioida, saisi ajan kanssa heidät ymmärtämään myös rapsuttelun merkityksen? Löytyisikö juuri teiltä sopiva koti, jolla on aikaa ja kärsivällisyyttä jatkaa kahden ihanan kollinrontin kesyttelyä kotikissoiksi?
