The beautiful female dog Ketty (4 years) is looking for a new, loving home with experienced dog people. She is an American Akita, vaccinated and microchipped, but not neutered. Ketty is a very cuddly and people-oriented female dog who is also open and friendly towards strangers. She greatly enjoys the closeness of her trusted people and forms a strong bond with "her" humans. In everyday life, she is uncomplicated: she is house-trained, can be left alone for longer periods, and walks well on a leash. She also knows basic commands. Due to her strong prey drive, there should be no other animals in the new home – neither cats nor small pets. Other dogs should also not be present. Therefore, Ketty must always be walked on a leash outside. An enclosed garden or yard would be ideal for her, but it is not a mandatory requirement as long as adequate exercise and mental stimulation are provided. Children in the household should be steady on their feet and older due to her size and sometimes enthusiastically affectionate nature. As American Akitas are not beginner dogs, Ketty will only be rehomed to experienced dog owners who can provide appropriate physical and mental activity. Die wunderschöne Hündin Ketty (4 Jahre) sucht ein neues, liebevolles Zuhause bei hundeerfahrenen Menschen. Sie ist ein American Akita, geimpft und gechipt, aber nicht kastriert. Ketty ist eine sehr verschmuste und menschenbezogene Hündin, die auch Fremden gegenüber offen und freundlich auftritt. Sie genießt die Nähe zu ihren Bezugspersonen sehr und bindet sich eng an „ihre“ Menschen. Im Alltag zeigt sie sich unkompliziert: Sie ist stubenrein, kann auch über längere Zeit alleine bleiben und läuft gut an der Leine. Die Grundkommandos beherrscht sie ebenfalls. Aufgrund ihres ausgeprägten Jagdtriebs sollten im neuen Zuhause keine anderen Tiere vorhanden sein – weder Katzen noch Kleintiere. Auch andere Hunde sollten nicht vorhanden sein. Draußen muss Ketty daher immer an der Leine geführt werden. Ein eingezäunter Garten oder Hof wäre für sie ideal, ist aber keine zwingende Voraussetzung, solange ausreichend Bewegung und Beschäftigung gewährleistet sind. Kinder im Haushalt sollten aufgrund ihrer Größe und ihrer manchmal freundlich-stürmischen Art bereits standfest und älter sein. Da American Akitas keine Anfängerhunde sind, wird Ketty ausschließlich an erfahrene Hundehalter vermittelt, die sie körperlich wie geistig entsprechend auslasten können.
