Kimberly

Female · Puppy

Kimberly is a little treasure. She is full of joy, open and cuddly towards people. She loves to snuggle up to a person and be stroked. The sweetness comes from the Hungarian animal welfare. After wandering the streets multiple times and being picked up by the police, the owner decided to give her to the animal shelter instead of securing their property. The owner stated that she would have felt comfortable on the streets. Kimberly is an incredibly sweet and gentle female dog without any negative traits. When given the opportunity, she follows her people (here, the animal shelter staff member) like a shadow and wants to be stroked and cuddled. With other dogs, she is compatible. During a cat test, she showed curiosity but also shyness. The mouse has a normal energy level and runs very well on the leash. For the sweetness, we wish for a family, preferably with children and/or an already existing dog in the family, but it is not a must! Kimberly fits almost every person who has enough time, love, and beautiful walks with her. We are sure that whoever decides to take her in will find a great life companion! Kimberly is, of course, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, medically examined, has an EU pet passport, and will be traveling with us. As always, we would like to point out that a dog from the international animal welfare needs time, patience, and a loving welcome. New impressions, new routines, and new bonds should grow in peace. Whoever is ready to walk this path together will be rewarded with a very deep connection. The handover could take place on June 27, 2026, in Berlin or alternatively in the Stuttgart area, should someone fall in love with her and want to give her a – forever home –! Kimberly Rasse: weiblich, noch unkastriert, Alter: 01.04.24, Schulterhöhe: ca. This animal is not yet neutered/spayed.

DE·Show original

About Kimberly

What life with Kimberly looks like

Kimberly is a small puppy/kitten dog waiting at animals care - Tierschutz ohne Grenzen in Ketzin.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Kimberly, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Kimberly?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. animals care - Tierschutz ohne Grenzen handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Kimberly on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Kimberly if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — animals care - Tierschutz ohne Grenzen will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Kimberly already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Kimberly isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with animals care - Tierschutz ohne Grenzen early rather than rehoming privately; they know Kimberly and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
